Ed Oliver Golf Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Assistant Sales Coordinator! This Assistant Banquet Sales Coordinator position requires a flexible schedule and the ability to work weekend and evening hours, based on the business needs. Previous sales, food and beverage or banquet experience preferred. Compensation is hourly, 20 hours per week. $20 per hour.
Essential Duties: Provides sincere, timely and courteous service to all clients Conducts facility tours Acts as a trusted advisor for clients and guides them in making choices that will make their vision a reality Answer phone calls Regularly checks and responds to emails and voicemails Assists in the development of client proposals and contracts Maintains all client contacts and sales activities in the CRM Assists event BEOs and conveys all detailed event information to the chef, food and beverage director and banquet captain Processes banquet related transactions through the POS Performs other duties as assigned or required.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Physical Demands: Frequently stands, walks, uses hands, talks or hears. Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches. Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
Environment/Noise: The noise level is average.
Certificates/Licenses: Food Handlers Card/Certification is preferred
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences: Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English). Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages. Proficient in typing, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
